Heritage Makers Joins the Nationwide Effort on November 24, 2012 to Support Small Businesses
PROVO, UTAH, November 21, 2012 – Heritage Makers will be participating in “Small Business Saturday” on November 24, 2012, on the back of the busiest shopping day of the year (“Black Friday”). Small Business Saturday is a nationwide initiative that encourages people to do more shopping at locally owned businesses.
To show its support, Heritage Makers will offer 50% off any Ornamental Keepsake for customers who become members of Club HM. An increase in Club HM membership will mean more business for Personal Publishing Consultants, independent business owners who offer creative services to Heritage customers.
Heritage Makers consultants represent a core part of the Heritage Makers business. When customers buy services from independent consultants, they are supporting small businesses in their own community. Heritage Makers pledges to offer this Ornamental Keepsake discount to all customers who sign up for a Club HM membership between Friday, November 23 and Monday, November 26.
Heritage Makers has continually reaffirmed the importance that it places on strengthening communities. “Heritage Makers is proud to provide an opportunity for individuals to establish independent small businesses that support families, enrich communities and provide good old-fashioned service to customers,” commented Patti Gardner, President of Heritage Makers.
Small Business Saturday began in 2010 and has been held the Saturday after Thanksgiving in communities across the country. It supports communities by giving customers a local, small business alternative to the big box stores and online retailers that dominate Black Friday and Cyber Monday. “As a small business owner, I truly appreciate all who go the extra mile to support local businesses,” said Candace May, Independent Heritage Makers Consultant. “I know what it means!”
