A Look Back: Creating Your 2012 Family Yearbook

December 27, 2012

Now that the hustle and bustle of the holiday season is coming to a close, you can sit back, relax, and reflect on the best moments of the past year.  Sometimes we’re so focused on change and looking ahead that we don’t take time to remember the path that got us here!

Around the New Year, everyone is excited to start fresh and make a list of resolutions for improvement over the coming year – planning a family vacation, starting a journal, taking more photos, etc.  But before you start adding on to the files of photos that are already sitting in your hard drive, take a moment to get your photos from last year into a family yearbook.

The best place to start is to compile your favorite photos and arrange them in chronological order.  From there, it’s as easy as dropping them into scrapbooking templates that you can customize to fit each event. New babies, holidays, camping trips, the first day of school and many, many more…each year is filled with different moments that make it unique. Your family and friends will love grabbing their own memory book off the shelf and sitting down to flip through a year of their lives.

Three of Heritage Makers’ best family yearbook templates: 99241, 97292, and 97290.

The photos which have sat unseen in digital archives are now moments that can be lived again every day. With seasons changing, kids growing, and life evolving, the New Year is a great time to capture the highlights of the past year while they’re still fresh in your mind!
