Celebrate the 4th of July

July 3, 2008

The 4th of July is such a fun holiday for Americans. We celebrate the birth of our nation, our freedom, and the hope for the future. When the 4th of July hits, we can always count on parades, family fun, and lots of fireworks. At Heritage Makers, we take pride in the roots of our country and are thankful for those who came before us to make freedom possible.

The 4th of July always brings feelings of patriotism and heroism. It’s a nice time to remember the heroes in our lives…both those who have gone before and those who still live among us. Who are the heroes in your life? Are you celebrating the moments that mean so much to you? Are you preserving the past so the future can be strong?

This 4th of July holiday, take some time to think about the heroes in your everyday life. Your great-grandfather who served in war, your mother who is fighting cancer, or maybe a grandchild who lives life to the fullest every day. At Heritage Makers, we believe it’s the every day moments, the ordinary (and not so ordinary) occasions that are worth preserving. Take some time to remember those who are important to you, to record the stories, and preserve the memories forever.

From all of us at Heritage Makers, we wish you and your family a safe and happy 4th of July! And, we look forward to seeing some of the incredible storybooks that you’ll create about the heroes in your lives.
