For some, calendars are their best friend! They know exactly where they’ll be on any given day and all is right in the world as long as they have a calendar. For others, they’re a decorative item that happens to have important information on it and a few random notes. Whichever you are, or somewhere in the middle, keeping track of important dates has never been easier or better looking than it is with calendars created with Heritage Makers Studio. And there are so many templates that you can use as is or swap colors and accents to create your own look.
Does it feel like fall in your neck of the woods? It does here! The mornings are chilly, the trees are changing color, and there’s a dusting of snow on the tippy tops of the mountains. And if fall is here that means the holidays are coming and so are the November kits from Anthology by Lisa Bearnson. Want a quick look at what the kits look like? Get ready!
You may be in denial, but the holidays are fast approaching, which means it’s time to plan those handmade gifts. I love giving gifts I can customize for each recipient, even if the concept is the same or similar. That’s how today’s blog post came to be. The IKEA Rusch Clock is an inexpensive base that can be adapted to any design for a variety of people. If you don’t have an IKEA near you, they sell these online as well.
Happy Friday! Today seems like a great day to show you the latest in the Our Memories for Life free downloads. And notice I said downloads – not one, but TWO downloads! We have one for the Fall Flourish by Katie Pertiet collection and TWO for Joyous Noel by Katie Pertiet (note, that the Joyous Noel download contains two freebies).
To start us off, let’s look at what the freebies look like:
It’s hard to believe but we are only two weeks from Halloween, which means Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner. Have no fear, Anthology by Lisa Bearnson is here to help you capture your memories and celebrate in style with the October kits.
All five of our calendars are on sale this month, and today we want to highlight one particularly versatile style: the Now & Later Calendar. What makes these calendars so special is that they are intended to last far longer than just one year. Each page is carefully perforated in two places, allowing you to tear it away from the binding and from the calendar grid, leaving you with an 8” x 8” or 12” x 12” page to add to your scrapbook or frame! read more …
We are excited to announce that the latest Instagram photo contest starts today! This contest will run throughout the month of October, and the theme and hashtag are #HMseasonalfun. We wanted this contest to be broad enough to include projects from fall Subway Art to Christmas advent calendars, and everything in between! Simply snap a photo of those personalized seasonal projects you are creating, add the contest hashtag in the caption, and you’re in! You can even submit a screenshot of a project in progress, like the one below, so you don’t have to wait for the completed product.
