October is nearly here, which means Croptoberfest! And who doesn’t love getting together to create, especially when you can save money doing it. But don’t stop reading after the sale info, because there are other things you’ll want to read.
I whipped up this digital scrapbook page from scratch in under 30 minutes in Heritage Makers Studio.
The Studio U: Tips & Tricks class was so fun! We shared lots of tips for getting the most out of Studio. Plus, we had several new templates for inspiration. This particular class is hard to show in a blog post, so instead I’m going to suggest you watch the recording so you can glean every little bit from it (and watch it multiple times if you want).
Fall brings rich colors like deep red, golden yellow, burnt oranges, as well as beautiful browns and greens. If you think about it, you often see these colors in men’s clothing and designs. So we took advantage of that by including 2″ Border Strips with a manly look to them using the same color palette found in the All About Fall by Lauren Hinds collection. I have a few layouts to share today to show you how versatile this collection is, including one for the man in your life.
This week I’m heading to Las Vegas to share some fun memory keeping projects and teach a class all about celebrating birthdays PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE! I’m also sharing a message about appreciating the SPRINKLES in our lives—the special people and sweet moments that come our way.
I remember when I was little seeing an ad on TV for books that you could customize for your child with his or her name and thinking that was so cool. With Heritage Makers you can take that one step further and include photos of your child or photos of whatever story you are telling. There are so many stories to tell. Have you told your story?
The All About Fall by Lauren Hinds collection is filled with rich colors, beautiful designs, and plenty of options for your autumn pages as well as the men in your life. This video shows each designer cardstock, 2″ border strip, pocket border strip, and pocket journal card so you can see the beauty in person.
I was moved beyond words at the “My Story Matters” community project at The Road Home homeless shelter in SLC, Utah that was part of the Youngevity See the Change Convention. I was privileged to interview, help with photographs, play, chat, laugh, and cry with these girls (Makayla and Contessa) and their families while making a “My Story Matters” scrapbook (soon to be published by Heritage Makers) for each child.
It’s a new month! And that means gorgeous new artwork is available in your Heritage Makers Studio! Here’s a quick look at our new Basic and Premier art collections that have been added for September.
