Have you ever started a project and wondered what color scheme you should use? It’s not always easy to find coordinating colors that are trendy and make your projects pop! I don’t know about you, but I much prefer to use a palette that is already tried and true, such as the spring 2016 Pantone colors.
Each season Pantone comes out with their top colors, and they are often seen in fashion, home decor, and scrapbooking. To show how easy it is to use a color palette like this in your projects, I’m working with the Be Awesome Design Map (template 140211). I downloaded the image above from the Pantone website and uploaded it into my project, which makes it incredibly easy to pull the exact colors I want to use.
As you can see in the image above, you’ll need to place the color palette within the crop marks for the true color to show, otherwise you will get the muted colors you see on the right half of the palette.
I used four of the spring 2016 Pantone colors in this project: rose quartz, peach echo, serenity, and green flash. I love how these colors work together, and they also nicely complement the photo I dropped in. Now all I have to do is add a title, some journaling, and I’ll be set to go!
We hope these quick color tips help with your upcoming spring projects. Happy creating!
