You work hard on your scrap pages and often the only place you see them is when you pull out the album you’ve stored them in. But they make lovely home decor pieces as well. And there are plenty of ways to display them.
This first idea is super easy to do! The frame is from Walmart and it’s 12 1/4″ x 12 1/4″ so the scrap page fits perfectly. I’ve also seen square frames at most craft stores and IKEA. It’s easy to switch the scrap page each month or based on the season. And I love that it can go on a side table or you can hang it on a wall.
If you have lots of scrap pages to display, maybe from a special occasion or your favorites from the year, this wire with clips is the perfect option! You’ll find wire systems and clips at IKEA, Bed, Bath & Beyond, and some craft stores. I love this option for true simplicity in swapping layouts, plus you can move them around on the wire to make one the focus for the day or cram as many as you want on the wire and then flip through them to see the details. Plus, it accommodates different scrap page sizes (notice the 8 1/2 x 11 page on top of the 12 x 12 pages).
This final option uses a clipboard, in this case one that is almost 12″ wide. There are lots of clipboard sizes on the market so you can pick one that matches your preferred scrap page dimensions. Plus, you can paint or alter the clipboard to match your home’s decor. Clipboards can be found at office supply stores, but I also found a nice variety (including large sizes) on Amazon.
These are just three ideas for displaying your scrap pages. I’m all for having albums filled with memories, but I also love showcasing them in my home as a reminder of special times together.
Happy New Year and I hope the coming year is filled with love, memories, and plenty of time to create.
