The colors and patterns in Red, White, & Beautiful by Katie Pertiet lend itself to work with several solid color cardstocks and other collections. Today we’ll explore a few options.
I love having so many solid color cardstock options to use with this collection! Of course, red and blue colors were the natural pick for this collection, but you’ll be amazed at how great the Chocolate cardstock looks with the collection, especially if you use any of the pieces with Kraft in them. Also, White is not pictured, but it also matches very well (it was kind of a given). So the colors shown here are (from left to right): Cabernet, Classic Red, Cranberry, Chocolate, Classic Navy, and Riviera Blue.
The next way to go beyond with this collection is to pair it with another collection. And the Primary Collection has some wonderful options. For example, this shows designer cardstocks from Red, White, & Beautiful by Katie Pertiet paired with journal cards, 2″ border strips, and pocket border strips from the Primary Collection. Look at how great those colors look together!
I pulled out a few more journal cards, 2″ border strips, and pocket border strips from each collection so you could see the possibilities. If you have a birthday layout you need to do, you have options! Have a family gathering you want to scrapbook? Pull out your Primary collection and Red, White, & Beautiful by Katie Pertiet and see what looks good with your photos.
The key here, is to look past a collection’s components and see what other collections it works with. You’ll have tons of options that way, which makes creating the perfect layout for your memories that much more enjoyable!
Have fun creating!
