Digital scrapbooking pioneer donates a free storybook to every family working with the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation
Provo, Utah–March 21, 2013–Every person has a story–and sometimes those stories are cut tragically short. Heritage Makers, the memory preservation and personal story publisher, is working with the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (NILMDTS) organization to make sure that even the shortest stories are never forgotten, with the donation of a free 8” x 8” storybook (a $49.95 value) to families struggling with the loss of an infant.
The Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation (NILMDTS) administers a network of more than 7,000 volunteer photographers in the United States and 25 countries. By request, a NILMDTS-affiliated photographer will travel to a hospital to conduct a sensitive and private portrait session for families facing the loss of a baby. The portraits are then professionally retouched and presented to the families on an archival DVD or CD.
“Many families have found that a hard bound, archival quality book is the ideal way to preserve and showcase photos and memories of their loved one,” said Don Lehnhof, Director of Marketing at Heritage Makers. “These images are often the only ones the family has of the child, so they’re incredibly important. The Personal Publishing Consultants of Heritage Makers collaboratively volunteer their services to help design and publish storybooks at no charge. The end result is a beautiful way to honor and cherish a beloved family member.”
