When Sharon, Chris, and Candy introduced me to the concept of storybooking, I was intrigued. I was engaged to be married at the time and when I found out they did “Love Stories” I knew I had to tell my story. The thought of having my grandparents’ love story written in a book for all of their posterity to read was so exciting, but unfortunately I didn’t have their love story. I didn’t even know how they met. I knew I had to tell my story, not just my love story, but the stories of my life for future generations. I also knew I needed to uncover the stories of my ancestors and learn from their experiences, their trials and their triumphs. This was my original “Why”.A few months later I started working with Sharon, Candy, and Chris and began spreading the concept of storybooking. I knew that there was a future in their newly-founded business, not exactly sure what, but I knew that this was the greatest idea. And I wanted everyone to hear about it. I also knew that someday I’d have children and I wanted to stay home with them, but still be involved in the business. Seven years have now passed and I have two little kids, a four year old son and an 18 month old daughter. My second “Why” has come to pass. Everyday I am able to stay home with my children, play with them, and watch them grow and discover new things. I am also able to capture these moments and preserve them, help others do the same, and build a successful team of consultants all at the same time.
Heritage Makers is a company that makes dreams come true! I’ve seen it in my own life and in the life of other consultants. I’m so excited for what the future holds. This is an amazing company and I’m so grateful to be a part of it!
