New Flowers and Frames Project

April 12, 2016

I love to display photos and memories in creative ways, and in ways that I can display. Here’s a new little project I made using bits and pieces from the Anthology DIY Flowers & Frames Kit.

I started with a frame that’s about 15-inches by 8-inches. I stretched burlap across it and used a staple gun to secure it to the back.  Then I draped a long piece of twine across the frame and secured it to the back with staples.

Next, I selected a few favorite frames from the kit and found pictures to use with them. I worked on each frame separately, adding special touches like buttons, flowers, bows, and epoxy stickers. I also picked out a few paper flowers from the kit and added chipboard centers. Finally, I wrote on the journaling card.

I used my Mini Stapler and some clothespins to secure the various pieces to the twine that runs across the burlap frame. I also added a few bits of ribbon from my stash.

So basically, this is a scrapbook page for the wall! It will be easy to remove all the pieces when I’m ready to put them on a page and into an album. The frame can be used over and over again.
