The Family that Plays Together

February 9, 2016

Playing together is an essential, healthy practice for families. It’s a time to talk, laugh, lighten up, and build fun memories and bonds. One of my favorite childhood memories is playing card games with my family, and it’s something I love to do now with my own children. In fact, I just learned how to “battle” with Pokemon cards so I could join in with two of my boys!

Family play also happens to be the theme of one of my favorite scrapbooking kits from Anthology DIY. It’s a pocket card kit called Family Time, and it makes memory keeping just as fun as the memory making!

I really love the bright, happy colors in this collection and the clever titles and phrases on the cards and embellishments.

You probably already know that pocket scrapbooking has become my favorite way to tell the stories of my photos. The method is so easy and fast–and the results are fabulous! If you want to learn more about this great memory keeping approach, check out this blog post.

Wherever you play, whatever you play, make sure to do it often! Building strong relationships and memories is what life’s all about, after all. Remember, the family that plays together, stays together!
