It’s time for the first Instagram photo contest of the year! The theme is #YGYwhatilove, and the contest will run throughout the month of February. Post pictures of projects you love, whether they are part of your home decor, pages in a scrapbook, or a project in progress. Add the contest hashtag in your photo’s caption, and you’ll be set to go!
Starting next week on February 8, one winner will be randomly selected from the pool of entries each Monday around noon MST to win 20 publishing points, and the final winner will be announced Monday, February 29. We will repost the selected photos, and winners will be asked to send us their Heritage Makers account information via email to be awarded their points.
It is important to note that if your profile is set to private, we will not be able to see the photos you post, even if they have the contest hashtag #YGYwhatilove in the caption. Even if you try to tag us or direct share the photo with us, we cannot see it if your profile is private. In addition, remember that Instagram is designed to be used on mobile devices, so if you are working from your computer, you will not be able to use some features, including posting photos.
There is no limit to the number of pictures you can submit, but we do ask that if you submit multiple times, make sure each photo showcases different items. You can also check out what other people have submitted by searching #YGYwhatilove on Instagram, and this will bring up all photos posted so far from public profiles for the contest.
We are excited to see all your favorite memory keeping projects, and we would love to have entries from all three brands: Heritage Makers, Our Memories for Life, and Anthology by Lisa Bearnson. Good luck and have fun!
